SWERVE before you BRUNCH

The ladies' guide to seamlessly SWERVING between the two ultimate weekend activities: the gym and brunch.

Picture this:

It's Saturday morning, which means you made it through another grueling workweek, and another Friday night in the concrete jungle. You promised yourself only one glass of wine, and that may have turned into four… but don't beat yourself up! Because recovery is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

(1) SWERVE

+ (2) BRUNCH

= (3) a perfect day with your team!

After sending a group text from bed, you meet the girls at SWERVE. Beyonce and Jay-Z are Drunk in Love and remixed to perfection – giving you that burst of energy you need while you get set up at your bike. You pedal to the beat in your seat and in no time you find a rhythm. The hills hurt but they hurt so good. Adrenaline pumps through your veins and toxins due to excess Chipotle and tequila are sweat out. Somewhere between sips of icy SmartWater and a dub-steppified Kelly Clarkson ballad, you're back on your game.

At Swerve, we fully recommend our version of a Parisian shower, if you’re pressed for time. This includes a quick rinse in the shower, a splash of perfume behind each ear, a swipe of a Neutrogena cloth across your face, and an extra application of deodorant. Throw on loose, ripped boyfriend jeans, a fresh tank and an oversized flannel, sweatshirt, or sweater, and you’re good to go. If it’s really nice out, pack a sundress and slip into that. Warby Parkers, always chic with a slicked back pony-tail, complete the look. No need for much makeup – a little mascara never hurts, but there’s nothing like the fresh-faced glow (#SWERVEface) we get after a workout, and any guy who catches a glimpse of yours strutting down 18th street after class should consider himself lucky.

You are in that euphoric, happy state that only puppies, beach days and an amazing workout with your best friends by your side can create. It’s brunch time, and like Ellie says - anything can happen.
